However....

I sometimes look through my portfolio, and I am amazed, and honored, and astounded at the depth and creativity, and all around talent of the people that I have worked with. And that makes it worth it. Even if I'm on hiatus right now, I still have the amazing work that I have done with the talented awesome people in my life....

I come and go

I just announced my hiatus from modeling (again). I'm tired, and bored, and don't much feel like getting naked any more. Still shooting, but not as much, not really working on anything, just need a break. I think this hiatus might be permanent though. Too many good people are gone from the field, and no one has stepped up to replace them....

The Mission - Puscifer

So, you all don't know it yet, but I am a huge music freak. I live on it, even more than I do visual arts. I'm unhappy if I don't get to listen to some music every day. Preferably all day, on headphones, at high volume. But anyways, I'm currently obsessed/in love with Puscifer. (Maynard James Keenan of Tool and A Perfect Circle's current...

So I just uploaded a large chunk of my portfolio from dA. It's a little overwhelming to post everything at once, but more time efficient. Noticed a few bugs that can hopefully be addressed. I like the submission process, though I do definitely wish there were more categories, but I'm sure they're coming....

I must say, your Portfolio was a true pleasure to view. Your work as a Model is top notch, but you have the Skin Tone that begs B+W...and with that said, those were my favorites! The 40's'ish Military images were great! Barbed (I assume was u)...sweet!
And your work as a Photographer. The images of Pirate Dolly (Miming Beautiful) and Devil Girl Crawl (very primitive) shows your talent at both ends of the glass! Not an easy feat!
But my favorite overall has to be Jon Bauerc's image "Hidden Things". You were made for this shot! Great composition and the lighting...superb!

Hey! I have seen your name from time to time on dA for sure. I can agree with you in regards to the politics. It happens though when a site gets so big with so many opinions. I am kind of excited to "start over" so to speak in a small community again. Emotion: smile.gif

Yeah, leaves things pretty questionable and the community shaken, but as it comes down from the top "business is business" and we aren't owed any explanation. It's in writing in a couple of places. dA isn't doing a good job of leaving the community feeling very secure in their decisions, I know that. Annnnnyway........

That said- Thanks for saying hello and although I'm a newbie myself, it's good to see you here. There's a ton to see and great people to meet, so enjoy!
